Welcome Chainsaw, jump right in and enjoy... We got a good bunch of Gentlemen here....

Welcome Chainsaw! What tabletop wargames did you play?

A homebuilt system, it was me and 2 friends who found the rules "panzergranate" on militaryminiatures.de and rebuilt it to have more functions for the infantry in the rules (and support). But once we got computers that game went into the trashbin :)

Edit: so we used the rules together with 1:72 figures and tanks with 1:1 representation

Sounds cool. I played Warhammer 40k and Warhammer WWII.

Edit: soldier take of those civilian clothes!

Done! :)

Pvt. Sofronije: No, I have gotten to used to CM2 so I cant stand CM1 anymore (heresy I know). fired up CMAK italian mod to get some british infantry fighting going but after a while I closed it down again. Can't compare to CM2 anymore.

Well if you like the Brits so much (which I simply can't understand :drunk: why you want to fight with those theadrinking marmalade soldiers) then you would be pleased that the Commonwealth mod is coming soon.

hahahahahaha

Indeed I am! It's all really simple. I do WW2 Reenactment as British infantry so that gets carried over to the game world to :) in the reenactment world there is to few units portraying normal british infantry so I decided to go that way and boot up the first british infantry unit in Sweden. After reading a ton of books I got stuck with the brits :)

And I love tea btw ;)

And yeah, I cant wait for the CW module to arrive! To bad all the fun stuff wont be in untill the last module, Crocodiles and AVRE was used plenty by brits, so it wont be totally right with the british forces untill the last module!

And I rather fight with teadrinking marmelade soldiers then sauerkraut farting germans ;)

hahahaahahahahah good one!!!

Indeed the AVRE would be nice to have right away to clear the beach.

About the reenactment thing... --> PICTURES!!! make a new thread and post some. I think lots of guys here would love to see some stuff.

Hey Chainsaw... my grandmother was from Lycksele Sweden... not really sure where it is.... she came to American in 1900.... lived to be 99, passed in 1983... she would tell me stories of Sweden when I was little... She always talked about how awesome the lakes are....

Awsome! :)
Lycksele is far up north, I live in Scania (The region, not the truck! Which in theory still belongs to Denmark, occupied by Sweden for 300 years) and Scania is so far south you can get in Sweden, I have been in the area of Lycksele one time only but the terrain there sure is beautiful! But also pure hell for any army :)

Pretty though woman to live to 99! respect indeed on that!
