Unless a regime change comes from inside Iran itself, I think that an Israel/Iran conflict is inevitable.

If Irans nuclear plants are allowed to go into full production, they'll be able to hand out freebie nuke bomb-making material around the muslim world.
So they've GOT to be demolished before then, the west and Israel has no choice, and any politician who can't see that is a lousy politician.
Muslims already hate the wests and Israel's guts, so we've nothing to lose by zapping the plants anyway.
Israel trashed Saddams nuke plant with a pre-emptive airstrike in 1981 so it's nothing new-

Time magazine to Osama Bin Laden, Dec 1998- "are you trying to acquire chemical and nuclear weapons?"
Bin Laden- "Acquiring weapons for the defense of Muslims is a religious duty. If I have indeed acquired these weapons, then I thank God for enabling me to do so. And if I seek to acquire these weapons, I am carrying out a duty. It would be a sin for Muslims not to try to possess the weapons that would prevent the infidels from inflicting harm on Muslims."

I agree, Spike. Ahmedinejad has stated repeatedly his aim to wipe Israel from the face of the planet. As long as him and hard liners like him are in power conflict is inevitable and Israel and the West would be foolish to sit around and wait for Iran to make the first move.

I remember well when Israel put the Kai-bash on Saddam's nuclear ambitions.
