Joining a Kiwi Clan

I was trolling through armaholics and found a add on called Australians at war (AAW), and saw it was for download at a web site called Ausarma and went there and joined in the forum.

From there I have found a clan in NZ, Virtual Mercenary Army (VMA) awesome low ping and plus a great bunch of guys. I am on a 3 weeks probation before becoming part of the clan and earning the converted kiwi patch.

They play every tuesday at 1930 hrs which is another great part, regular game time and interact with the 4 major aussie clans on a regular basis and have been involved in some major operations which sound very cool. Whole platoons of dudes completing missions. :grouphug:

Good for you mate, the VMA sounds like it has plenty of meat on it, whereas FGM ArmaII players have always been too thin on the ground to form a regular fireteam.

Yeah and FGM has still got the best ArmaII screenshots section anywhere on the web, we punch above our weight as always..:)

Heres some of whats happening over at VMA. Looking forward to it.

Lol, i was there a year ago. I hit a 20kg IED in that valley. We had two Aussies with us, and we made link ups with the Aus FOBS. They do the OMLT* with the afghans in that area
So Wigam, you be careful!! ;)

it does a little bit Bootie

But then again, you have to start somewhere and usually small.
I dont think you made the FGM overnight did you? ;)

We are doing great with what we are doing ! These guys play this and only this, this is there CM if you get my drift. So we are doing fine and I am enjoying Bootie's FGM missions.

By the way I have started playing domination with them, thats what we call vanilla wars. With 10 + guys its so much fun, enemy tanks, Hinds coming in shooting down our boys in their helos. They play domination every night here, I am getting in plenty of game time.

Small world, I am glad the IED left you still with us Breaklight, what was the area like ?

And I will be careful now.

Its like going back in time. Medival times, but carts are replaced with toyota hilux and tractors. Where theres water its green, empty dusty (or muddy with rain) rocky mountains. I'll post some pics if i get round to it
