Just saying hi and looking for 1 pbem

Hello all im new to the FGM and just wanted to say hello. Im a long time player of the old Cmx1 games but fairly new to the CMx2 games, i did play a little when it was first released but didnt play much as my pc at the time hated it for some reason.

As i now have a new pc and they released the v2 engine i'd like to give pbem another try.

I am looking for one small scenario of CMBN, CW or MG, i'm hoping to use ths small game just to get back into the swing of things and using this H2HH/dropbox i keep hearing about (im still used to the old emailing game turns!). I am more than happy to mirror the game and i dont mind if the game is blind or not as this is purely a practice game.

Any tips or pointers on using h2hh will be welcomed as well ;)

hi fubar, im looking for a game too :). im also not a profi with h2hh/dropbox but we can try it.

are you interested? so i can look for a small - medium scenario.

iron difficulty ok?

Hello mate, sounds good to me.

I have CMBN, CW and MG and i'll happily play axis or allies.....take your pick mate. To be honest im not sure what difference the difficulty makes yet but Iron sounds like a good challenge to me. :)

I am downloading h2hh right now so fingers crossed it should all be good to go. Next i need to figure out how to join the CMx2 ladder lol

Nice :). when we have problems with that h2hh Stuff lets avoid onto classic E-Mail. But for now i cross my fingers too ^^.
Im still at work now (nightshift) and will start a game tomorrow in the mornig maybe later. (the time is now 23:55 CET here in my City).

Only if u want u can look for a scenario too when it takes u too long before next mornig :). prefer all sides. I use CM:BN + MG
 
Cool mate i look forwards to it, no rush i know real life comes first. I'm working day shifts so will get to the turn after 19.00 GMT. :)

It is cool to see new members get involved right away. Keep it up guys and I hope you enjoy your game and stick around. Loads of new stuff coming with the upcoming release of CMRT
 
Yeah i miss fighting on the Russian Front.....hope its as good as it looks.

Hello mate, i've installed H2HH and its copied the game file to the incoming email folder ok but when i run the game it doesnt see the file. I'm running the latest version of the game 2.12 using the v2 engine upgrade....i just wonder if it cant see the file because we are on different versions maybe?

i used the newest version of the game and some mods too. better i delete them. i try again. or you can try too send me a scenario.
 
Is the scenario called Boys Against Men? I dont seem to see it in my scenario list, is it a community made scenario? If so maybe i need to install it first?


EDIT...found it, its a MG scenario. Hmm i will try to start one and send you it
 
OK reinstalled everything and it seems to be working....playing turn now ;)

H2HH is well worth persevering with, after a few turns using it you'l wonder how you played without it.
 
@ Odin: H2HH isr a great deal :). nothing without anymore. Much comfortable
@ Durch Grenadier: The First Turn (Planing Phase) takes longest but it´s also the funniest :). Im planing over the day ^^... in the meanwhile i do other work @ home ^^. Love Turn Based Systems like that :D
 
Hmm is the H2HH chat working? Files seem ok but my chat messages keep bouncing back.
