Nancy Wake (still alive at age 98) was a New Zealand-born Resistance fighter and SOE operative in France, the Gestapo called her the "White Mouse" and she was the Gestapo's most-wanted person, with a 5 million-franc price on her head.
She killed an SS sentry with her bare hands to prevent him raising the alarm during a raid.

Why would you say White Mouse?

I read on a site that Wake said she hoped to go down in history as the woman who turned down 7,000 sex-starved Frenchmen.
