I remember getting my draft card...meant I was able to buy 3.2 beer!!
I remember joining the U.S. Army Reserve when I was 17 and still having to register for the draft when I was 18.
But I absolutely remember a 50 cent beer machine in our common room barracks in Ft. Knox when I was doing AIT in 1984.
