I think there is one obvious solution. JO is currently involved in 2 - Turn 4 battles. Now if each team has 2 players, shouldn't each team member handle one of the battles? Now that might not help in this case, but we did have a reserve list and I would suggest that we have a "floater" that can step in when a tourney player runs into RL issues that might require their attention for a turn or two. Just my input.

Ha ha....we had 3 battles this round. Badger cleared his in a hot minute. I'm the holdup this round.

Mike and I have 6 turns left. I'll be back with Olaf tonight and suspect we can push through our game pretty quick. Doesn't help in the long run I know.

How about just finishing the one game and forfeiting the other to get the tourney back on track. Badger and I have been done for at least a week, maybe it would have been a prudent move to ask Olaf and Rico to allow a restart with Badger73 taking up the gauntlet, if Badger could. Just suggestions, not criticisms.

Reasonable proposals all. And yeah... sometimes the wisdom of prudence is easiest seen in the light of hindsight...lol.

Mike and I now have 5 turns left. If he his able to stay awake and play (he is in Germany and I in US) we may be able to play out today.

Olaf and I are on turn 9 so I don't think a restart is in order myself. I can't help it if the Dark Prince has been hesitant to attack. Just kidding folks. Just kidding! I am happy to redouble my efforts on that game. @olaf.....if you can stay awake as well I am happy to commit to busting out as many turns as I can after work today. Of course...that is a few hours away but I'm in if you can do it.

Again.... apologies for causing a kerfuffle!!!!!

Sorry, not going to be able to do that. When you have a small child, you make sure you use every opportunity for sleep ;).

Anyway, I appreciate that @Rico is creating / running these tournaments.
For me, being as quick as possible is not so important though, I can wait if somebody has real life intervening etc. It's just an unavoidable fact of life with an adult gaming crowd, IMHO. So after being a part of FGM for a decade now, I set my expectations accordingly. If I can't play a turn tonight on one particular match / tournament .. so what, there are more than enough other possibilities to entertain myself during my sparse free time (I did mention the child, didn't I :p).
