World war 2 arena (no modern)
Want to play a large map, CMRT/CMFB/CMFI
I have all DLC’s
My choice would be CMFB with light snow, cold and windy is preferred by me.
15-20k points (2 1/2 battalions).
To do these large battles we could pick a map, get a points count from quick battle screen and then setup the game in scenario editor (with those units) and play it. We would be on the honor system to make sure we adhere to both point total and rarity (which I always play with loose)
I prefer to play German, but will play any allied nation, if opponent wants to play the Germans.
Map size: 3000+x3000+
Central town occupied will be major objective with two secondary
Motorized or armored or on foot Infantry with the following caveats:
supporting armored half tracks or wheeled gun platform support are all ok.
No tanks!!
One armored regiment hitting another one in a meeting engagement.
Anti tank artillery is allowed
Anti aircraft artillery is allowed
Off map Artillery allowed.
Air support allowed.
I want to play a large infantry battle. I want to really try to fight an opponent with no supporting tanks. Only armored infantry with some support and truck transport.
My hope is that it will really test each of us how to incorporate maneuver warfare with infantry. It adds a bit of focus and tactical thought to the game.
2 hours seems appropriate for this battle
Play by email only.
