looking for opponent for CMRT

New player interested in finding an opponent to play CMRT PBEM MP. I'd prefer to play Elite Difficulty or Iron. I've never played a PBEM MP game before but I do know how to play the game. I don't have any preferences whether it be a battle or a quick battle.

Hi Frosty :),

shall we play a large Russian attack in a mirror match on difficulty "elite"? This would be two games (two results for the ladder), we each play one as Russians (attacker) and one as Germans (defender) on the same map.

I would like to play with the "Wynter Green Heavy Tank Rule" which means that we must buy three "normal"/medium tanks (StuGs, Panzer IV, T-34 etc.) first before we can buy one big tank (Tiger, Panther (Panther does not count as a medium tank), IS-1, IS-2 etc.) and second rule is the Gentlemen's Golden Rule: No pre-planned arty from the defender into the attacker's setup zone.

Would this be OK for you?

Do you use dropbox?

Great! I'm going to search for a suitable map now. Please add your e-mail to your profile by occasion - this makes it easier for other players to invite you to a dropbox folder. If you don't want to show your "official" e-mal here in the forum (or internet) for to protect it from spam etc., you may also create a "just for gaming e-mail" very easily on Google.com (Gmail) for example. It takes only a minute. (Only meant as a hint/tip). Name could be like "FrostyFGM at gmail dot com" for example or something like that. ;)

But you may tell your e-mail to your opponents "exclusively" by PM (personal message) only, of course - that's OK too. :)

If you have questions or need some help in something regarding PBEM gaming or the FGM - please feel free to ask me.;)

You may also pick a ready-made avatar for your profile from a list or you can even create your own. Let me know if you need help with it.

OK, going to search for a suitable map now - if you don't like the map, we will take another, of course - no problem.

OK, fine! Invite sent and files are in the box!

I picked map #006 - haven't played it ever before. It provides both cover and open field.

Good hunting and have fun! :2charge:

Hi Frosty,

I see that you responded to my invitation for a game. For some reason I didn't get a notification that you responded as I had been getting. If you are still interested, I have room for a game.

Thanks,
Craig

Hi @Frosty, first of all thank you for you excellent high turn rate - absolutely great!
I'd like to suggest that in the game "Shork SU - Frosty GER" we hit the "cease fire" button
and let the computer count our points. But if you want to go on, we can click us through the
remaining turns - I'm making only a suggestion to save us the loading times etc. as there is not
much more going to happen on the battlefield I'd say. :panzer:

THank you! I hit it too - I guess it still will take a turn or two untile the game ends. ;) Talk to you then, mate!

Hi @Frosty , thank you for the two games and your outstanding, excellent fast turn rate - very good! ;)

I'm in the same boat. Would love to get into a battle with you
