Looking for some advice.

I have played CMBO, BB, and AK for a couple of years now. While I am certainly not an expert at the game, I do feel comfortable playing them all and get a lot of enjoyment out of it. I have resisted buying CMSF partly because I prefer gaming WWII vs modern warfare and I really didn't want to try learning a newer gaming platform while I was trying to become familiar with the original. The upcoming release of CM Normandy has really got me excited and I am sure I will be purchasing it.

My question is this: Should I buy CMSF now to familiarize myself with the platform or will learning the system be easy enough that I can learn "on the fly" with CM Normandy?

I defer to the experienced CM'ers here and would be thankful for any input.

I watched it on the other thread and I must say that it piqued my interest.

CMSF is definitely on my purchase list.
