The Marauder is a wheeled (4×4) armored vehicle developed and manufactured in South Africa by the firm Paramount Group, entering service with the South African and Jordanian armies in 2008.-
Its armor protect the crew against 5.56mm and 7.62mm rifle rounds as well as against mine and hand grenade blasts. The armament it carries depends on the type of mission; it is usually armed with a machine gun (7.62mm or 12.7mm) and/or a 40mm grenade launcher.- The Marauder is powered by a Cummins ISBe4 diesel engine that delivers 280 hp.-
