Market Garden mastermaps

Does anyone else have any problems loading these maps?
I timed it and it takes me about 20min to load a mastermap. Or sometimes CMBN just quits on me.

20 minutes?? Yikes?? And is that just the map or an actual PBEM game with thinking going on? I am assuming that these maps are not meant to be played with units like a QB but to be divided up into smaller chunks to be made into smaller battles?

It is just when I loead the maps themselfs. When I want to preview them. I want to use one of these mastermaps for a massive 15k each battle.

Hey DG have you had a chance to survey the Mastermaps for accuracy?
Since you're our man on the ground there, I'm curious to know how well they did in the translation from real world to pixel world.

No I haven't really checked for accuracy. But also most maps have changed over the last 65 years

Must be cool, someone some where other than where you live drawing your neighborhood from yester-year.

I can open them without problems here. Just the really urban heavy ones take a long time (about 7 minutes) to load.
