Mortars & Smoke

I'm sure the answer is simple, but I can't find it.
How do I get my off board arty/mortars to fire smoke rounds?

Same as your on board arty.
And if you cant fire smoke well then they just cant fire smoke...

OK, then how do on board mortars fire smoke (assuming they have smoke rounds) indirectly?
I'm not seeing an option to choose smoke rounds.

I don't recollect seeing any of my on board mortars carrying smoke yet.

Not all mortars and arty have smoke rounds. Look on you IU to check or see the manual unit section. If they do carry smoke you can fire it by selecting your arty and on the bottom of the list stands SMOKE.

The Target Smoke command will be highlighted for on map stuff.... for off map you need to see smoke rounds (it will show 'smoke' or 'wp' for White Phosp...)
