Good but little known story about the first units to fight in Afghanistan after 9/11.

Yeah, its may be a bit formulaic...and you have Thor riding a horse....but I highly recommend it.

I will be purchasing my copy of Horse Soldiers with Amazon shortly.
 
The book is great, I had to read it in spanish as it was a gift but it was really interesting, the movie looks good also.
 
I saw 12 Strong with the family yesterday. Very good movie. A few small Hollywood things like the US Captain calling a BMP a tank, etc. The movie also depicted how civilians, especially women, were treated under the Taliban. A good movie that I recommend.
