Watching the Das Boot series on SBS on-demand on Australia atm, quite enjoying it.

TV series is "The Greatest War Movie" never to be made . The Film is brilliant, BUT series is amazingly good.

If you've not seen it think HUGE quality long form TV (decades before English/Yankee TV discovered the idea) telling a story of claustrophobia, team-work, stress, discipline and quiet heroism with humour, emotion and respect.

BEATS all others - Yes even Band of Brothers, a close second( Let the disagreements begin! )
