Looks nice Bootie. Looks expensive also but thats one thing I don't mind paying good dollar for good pics.

Remember don't take any pics of any sensitive buildings if you haven't shaved, are wearing a towel on your head because the heat wave has hit.

Yeah Im hacked of with my little compact Sony... half the pictures are blurry. This one uses 2 anti blur/shake inhibitors at the same time so hopefully no more blurry pics. Good zoom as well but I got it mainly for the panoramic pic thing which is pretty cool.... take 3 pics and it auto stitches them together... ideal for Brooklyn Bridge and pics from the top of the Empire State building.

Bootie beautiful machine .-
I must be content with my Fujifilm Finepix J10 that I brought my sister when she lived in Bracknell .-

Nice macho chunky look to it, not like the poncey little silver things that are more suited to a ladies handbag..:)
Wow 18x zoom, how kewl is that, you'll definitely need a VERY steady hand or a tripod when shooting over about 5x zoom.
The image stabiliser will damp down camera shake but not fully eliminate it (I found that out with my cam which has also got stabilisation), but for normal shooting (0 to about 5x zoom) shake's not noticeable.

Yeah good pics of all the great landmarks from NYC. Make me jealous.

lol, nice one. Thats another on the bucket list, low down though.

And is it full 18x zoom?
PS- mine has trouble shooting through windows because the glass messes up the auto-focus beam or something

Here is a pic from maps of how far the tower is from my house. Nah its not full zoom... it got blurry a lit bit more zoomed in... I took it by hand so not bad. If I had a tripod I could go right in I guess. You can see why their is the top of a boat in the picture as it cuts across the port for the supply ships.
