I think my Icons on the desk top are a little on the small size, I think there is away to make them bigger does any one know and please tell me in easy terms how to do it please, you could save me a lot of time

This is how my Win XP looks after clicking 'Advanced' like Bootie said.
I then click 'Desktop' in the right pane, then select 'Icon' and then it'll show a number which is the icon size,type the size you want. I usually set mine to size 40..
