I was going to say Antietam as well. Wild ass guess, San Juan Hill.
 
I say it's world war one, looks as if the wagons where purposely destroyed in a hasty retreat, perhaps of the one battle of the Ypres.
 
Is it one of the eleven Isonzo battles during WW1 in Italy ?
 
I was going to guess Spanish Civil War.

If not that how about Serbia WW I.
