I have the whole cm normandy bundle version 2.12 fortress italy and gutstav line the shockforce bundle and red thunder
 
Alright buster, sos youz thinks ya can handle the likes of me? Pick a scenario, any scenario, pick yer side, send me an invite and take yer best shot. Send me a dropbox invite if you dare.

I'm assuming from your question about dropbox, that you don't know about CM Helper, formerly known as H2H Helper. So I'll explain.

When you have properly set up Dropbox, which you'll find at Dropbox.com, and then installed and connected CM Helper to it and then set up each of the games you have going, then all you have to do is take your turn in your game. CM Helper will save your turn, send it to Dropbox, Dropbox will upload it onto their site on the internet and you will have a seperate dropbox for each one of your oponents. CM Helper will put the saved game into the dropbox you share with that opponent and it will download it to their computer. If they have set up their options to do so, on their end, their CMHelper will make a ding sound to let them know a game turn just came in, it will show them which of their games has a turn waiting for them to take and all they have to do is start the appropriate game such as Combat Mission Beyond Normandy, then looked at the "saved games" and they will see the saved game ready for them to take their turn. From there the cycle repeats. They take their turn and when they press the red button to end the turn it will auto save, and send the turn back to you.

In other words, you set these two things up and from then on all you have to do is take your turns. They remove all the hassle out of playing by email.

So sign up and install dropbox. Then log in.

Then go to https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jvh9sx2zla2k0eq/S6LZaVAw_7 to download CM Helper. Choose the 1.3.5 Beta version that is right for your PC or Mac. Your computer may block the download and tell you that it is a virus, it's not a virus, everybody uses it and no one I've ever heard of has had a virus from it, so just override the block.

Download it and install it. Battlefront has undoubtedly installed a battlefront folder in your "Documents" folder and I like to install CM Helper there, in it's own folder.

Denis sent me some really great instructions on how to set up CM Helper so here they are:

I couldn't make sense out of the instructions on how to set up and use CM Helper from the instructions I found at various places, so Wildcard sent me these instructions--
"1. Open up your CMhelper and go to the Your CM installations tab. Are you able to see CMBN in black if not you are going to have to add it. (move to 1a if its not installed if it is installed move to 2)

1a click on install along the top left a drop down menu should have add install game.

1b. give it a name for me I called it CMBN.

1c. my Installation Root Directory will look different to yours as I placed my game in program files and looks like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefront\Combat Mission Battle for Normandy. So you will have to check yours

1d. again my Installation executable will look different C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefront\Combat Mission Battle for Normandy\CM Normandy.exe

Both Root Directory and Installation will all depend on the location you install the game on your HD.


2. Next we will check to see if CMhelper is talking to Dropbox.

2a. On the far left of CMhelper you will see file on clicking it you will see setting. Click it and a box will open up with Dropbox Root. You will need to point CMhelper to your Dropbox file so my one looks like this
C:\Users\Denis_windows_7_HD_1\Dropbox.

3. To add a game click on Game.

3a click add game point it to the game file your wanting in your dropbox file and chose the type of game.

4. Hopping at this point you see the game under the Games tab we just nee to do one final check.

4a. left click on the game so its high lighted blue thenn right click it go to edit game.

4b. check to see if there is information in the Game file folder box and if not tell it where to go. for example C:\Users\Denis_windows_7_HD_1\Dropbox\wildcard vs Strachwitz

4c. check Application Name is filed in if not again point it in the direction for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlefront\Combat Mission Battle for Normandy\CM Normandy.exe.

While you are doing all the above, I'll be picking a scenario and getting it started and then send it to you in dropbox and dropbox will send you an email with an invite to join the dropbox I have created for us.
