burroughs here, I have been PBEMing for quite a few years now, avid military and political history student. Joined to find opponents for Combat Mission; Afghanistan first, then we'll see what's next. The sky's the limit as it's been for that several years past as a member of a few wargaming communities.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. I'll study the rules and regulations in force ASAP and will obviously comply, but I was just anxious to see if I can find some immediate action and combat deployment to DRA on internationalist duty so please forgive me if I disregard anything I possibly shouldn't have. I come from south- central Poland, remember the war being covered on state TV back in the '80s when I was a child.

BTW, @Bootie, I sent you the setup as soon as you replied to your mail address that is available here in your profile. Some enlightened guidance to useful routines and tools of the trade when it comes to fighting a human opponent in Combat Mission system and file exchange protocols will be extremely handy and welcome. Since it looks as I am gonna stay for a while I am buying the Shock Force addon bundle later in the day.
 
Being at work on Saturday when so much combat action is awaiting is simply outrageous. I'll talk to our battalion political commissar to straighten up up a bit here.

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played head to head (H2H). ;)

For to get involved into the PBEM H2H gaming action, please go to the gaming section and choose the category with
the game that you'd like to play (CMBS or CMBN etc.). There you'll find the postings for gaming requests.
And there you may also start your own, of course. ;)
