Greetings all.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I have watched this forum over the years (I am not green in age) and admired many of the games, scenarios and tournaments generated from its members. I am looking forward to learning from all of you. I have CM BB, AK and even the old BO. Also am trying to learn CM2. So far, the interface has made the gain not worth the pain. In due course hopefully will get there. Please email if you would like to teach an old dog new tricks. Thank you again.

Welcome Mate! It´s a longer time (a few year???) we met. So if You want we could do our re-match. CMAK or CMBB is both OK for me.

Might I suggest you camouflage your e-mail addy (gvietz at cableone dot net) That way any malicious Bots will not pick up your e-mail addy and possibly spam your mates here at FGM.
I would also suggest you go to your profile page and place your e-mail in the appropriate location. It will appear at the bottom of your Avatar field as a small envelope.

Good to have you with us! :)

Joining this community was the right decision because Combat Mission is at it's best when played against other humans
- but in our download section you will also find a lot of new scenarios to play against the AI.

Enjoy the club and become a part of our community - there are many reliable gaming partners here, plenty of stuff to
check out and good people to meet. :)



My good advice to all new recruits for playing H2H matches in a community:

1. Don't think too much about your opponent or the ladder - play your game as if it was against the AI.
2. Win with equanimity, lose with a smile.
3. It's a long way to the top and you will be defeated many times - accept it and learn from your mistakes. ;)
