This is what left the mudslides in the mountain communities north of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on January 12 .-

Landslides in the Serrana region were caused after falling in 24 hours the same amount of water that falls in a month .- The victims exceed 700 .-

Too much playing around with Mother Earth, she shows she doesn't like it. Something to think about superiority of mankind who is stupid enough to think we can control everything with science and technique...
 
The president of the Regional Council of Engineering Rio de Janeiro, Agostinho Guerreiro, also blamed the authorities for allowing the installation of a community in a landfill: "This was a totally foreseeable tragedy" .-
