House rules are subject to discussion. I'd appreciate however a decent turn rate - let's say at least 1turn/day. Anybody?

I will take this on. There is a good template for house rules by Wynntergreen leading to good and balanced Meeting engagements. I will post a link to it later. Basically it limits tanks to 33% of force composition. So a Large Meeting Engagement me as Axis? Tell me what you think of it...

The Rules for this game (Negotiable):

*33% Max Armour
A maximum of one third of points can be allocated to Armour units.
Any vehicle that can only be purchased from the Armour Single Vehicle section is considered armour for calculating the 33% maximum.
Vehicles that can be purchased from the Mechanized Infantry section, halftracks etc, do not count to the 33% Armour total.

*One/Four BigCat
AXIS, only every fourth Armour piece can be a BigCat.
You need to purchase three Armour assets before purchasing your first BigCat, then three more before purchasing your second, etc.

BigCats for this game are Panthers, jagdpanzers And Tigers.
No King Tigers.

*Allies Armour purchase is unrestricted, except by rarity.

*Rarity Strict

*Organic Artillery +1
Meaning all the normal Organic Artillery rules apply except that you're allowed to purchase 1 non Organic Artillery Asset.
The non-organic artillery asset purchased must be 150mm or less.

*No Air

*No TRPs
Setup turn Registered Artillery is ok, but no firing for effect on turn one (except smoke) and no registered artillery on setup zones.

Hello Strachwitz. The above rules are perfect for me. The only small problem is there is a scarcity of good maps for large QB. Maybe you can propose a nice map, not very open, with room for manouver.. If not we will have to choose one from the GL module.

Roger that. I will provide a map for us both. Should be ready tomorrow! At least I hope :)

Nice. So I am waiting. 1,5x1,5 km at least please to have some tank duels at distances closer to reality;)

Hey Fuchs. I found a beauty of a map by Pete Wenman. But it is massive 3x2 km! Do you think your PC could handle this? If yes I would propose a huge Meeting Engagement. I got two games of this scale running so on my side it would be a pleasure as CM truly shines at this scale. Lots of room to maneuver, tank battles galore and infantry fighting for the objectives...and no worries, my turn rate is pretty decent as we should aim for a 2 hour match...

I sent you an invite for our shared dropbox folder. There you find two maps. Choose which one you like. The bigger map has not implemented VLs and setup zones yet, but I would provide them if you want to test this one.

Im in for this kind of ladder game also, any interested PM our mail me! Good turn rate here, no matter of time zone!
