Thank you, Fred! :)

Downloaded it immediately et voilá: The ugly, unfitting German Zeltbahns (ponchos) are all gone! :D (I was already working on a mod for this).

I'm sitting this one out until someone says it's safe. In the past I have had WAY to many issues with these updates and PBEM.

I'm o/o action for now.
Downloaded it, installed it (got an error message it couldn't find game files) to default location.
Now, all I get is a black screen when trying to run it.

Well, v1.00 still seems to be working so I'm still in the game.

Yup. I'm waiting. And yes Fred, me and mTk still remember the nightmare of playing 2 different versions of CMBN to finish round one of the Sie tourney,

dont wanna spoil the fun but unfortunately the 1.01 patch contains a trojan TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen

This is a known issue that is a problem with some anti-virus programs... has been since CMFI came out... check BFC website for the solution... once fixed I havent had the issue ever again....

perhaps I am overreacting. Lets see, I contacted Antivir, Lets see what they say.

I had the same issue with GDATA Total protection 2013.
It is all fine. Just Switch off the Virus-SW during the Installation.

Still unable to get 1.01 to install. Here's an e-mail that describes my problem:
Hi Terry,
don't know if this is a help for you:

When you click on "setup.exe" of the original CMFI game, just let it install itself to the directory it wants to (some parts go to "programmes(86) and some to "own documents") - (by the way CMBN goes completely to "own documents") and there you leave it - you are starting it by the desktop button anyway, I suppose.

After you have downloaded the update for CMFI, again you click on "setup.exe" and it installs itself automatically right into the directory
where CMFI should be.

- The problem I'm having is when I try to install the patch I get the following message - Error:cannot locate the CMFI game files at the path you specified for installation.
- The patch tries to install itself into the the portion of the CMFI game where the main folders are located at : Program Files > Battlefront > CMFI. Unfortunately, the game files folder (by default upon CMFI installation) went to: My Documents > Battlefront >Combat Mission >Fortress Italy > Game Files.
- I know the patch.exe is supposed to go to the folder with the original 1.00.exe file, but unlike 1.00, 1.01 is unable to find the game files folder.
- Oh, I'm still using XP as my OS.
- I even made another <game files> folder and moved it to the Program Files location folders to no avail.

Are you sure, when said "CMFI game files ", is really the folder game file and not the app game files.
Try to speciify at the beginning (manual mode) the folder of the application CMFI.

You also have checked not changed the names of some folder.....
