I really have to visit one day. I teach Italian kids all year but have never been to Italy. But look at it! It's just full of history and culture. I feel that it's a real gap in my experience. I'm going to start learning Italian first , thanks for the inspiration!
If I was a tad younger you could book a flight for two.
I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself but it's a bit closer for me
