Problems with Windows 10

Ok so I upgraded to Win 10 - now CMBN and CMFI will not launch - any ideas or has anyone had this problem?
 
Please tell us more:

1) Was your anti-virus software active when you installed each game? In my case, everything installed and activated but Norton deleted the game .exe files! So, nothing happened when I clicked the game start (icon) shortcuts!
SOLUTION = Uninstall your games. Re-install with AV disabled.
PLEASE NOTE (and Google how to change) YOUR SYSTEM'S DEFAULT FOR "OneNote"! This will place all your CMFI scenario/campaign files in the cloud if OneNote is the default instead of on your local machine.

2) What hardware are you running? According to Battlefron post at http://community.battlefront.com/topic/123159-cmbn-crashes-on-new-laptop/#comment-1677880, some MSI gaming PC's have an issue.
"In case you have Nahimic, change the file "Nahimic2OSD" to "Nahimic2OSD_old", and you should be good to go. The file is only for streaming games. You can always change back. It is in the "UserInterface" folder in the Nahimic program folder. Hope it helps."​
However, I did not encounter this problem.

3) What video card are you using?

I am successfully running CMBN (CW, MG, Vehicle Pack, Battle Pack) and CMFI (GF) version CMx2 3.12 on Windows10. Your run down on the usual suspects will help our detective work. Keep us posted. Good luck!
 
ok i didnt understand most of your post - the games were working fine before i installed win 10 then as soon as i upgraded CMFB worked fine but CMBN and CMFI didnt - i dont even know what AV i have running

Understood. Unfortunately, I can't help you then. I have no experience upgrading. I purchased a new machine with Win10 Home Edition already installed. I suggest reaching out to the folks at BFC.

That's not good. Find out and protect yourself. There's bad people out there who would be happy to ruin your day.

I am already in contact with John - we are trying to narrow it down
 
resolved - i reverted back to windows 7 - all ok now - something in windows 10 was blocking CMBN and CMFI
 
same as you canadian cat, win 10 worked fine with CM games. Glad I changed, its still not as PC freindly as I would like but it is better than win 8
 
Hi.
I changed my computer.Now i've Windows10.But when i launch CMBN there are a error message:"UI not present". I try with windows 7 the same.But he's running with windows 7 on my old computer .

what is the problem ?
