The Germans produced more tanks and planes in 1944 than in any other year, so it seems the Allies massive blanket bombing offensive was almost useless.
They should instead have mounted small surgical strikes to do pinpoint bombing raids against the Nazi tank and aircraft factories, power plants, food and munitions factories etc with fast fighter bombers, or even better the Allies should have built divebombers to do the job, duh..
