So it seems we are still suffering from the reverse setup bug. How did you counter this again?
Is that where you go into the Editor, and just change the set-up areas over, on quick battles?

Yes when the regular chosen maps keep giving the wrong setup zones I just change them in editor

...but (!) - you also need to save the map as "Axis Attack" respectively as "Allied Attack" - AND - give it a new name.
Only then the map is really changed because in principle you've created a new/different QB map.
So painting alone is not the cure.

I know. And after a few attempts I did it the old fashion way and altered the setup zones myself. I also posted on the BF forum and they say that the problem is unsolvable...
Yeah right!
It's a Fookin' computer program, when coded properly the code can do whatever you tell it to do. What BF is really saying..."We're not interested in your problems, and will not be re-writing the code to fix this Bug.", or "We're such lame programmers that we can't find the Bug.". In either case it's further proof of their lack of concern for the end product and it's users.

I especially liked their response later in your thread where they blamed our computers for the problem. O rly? Whatever. What BFC needs more than anything is some stiff direct competition. When you're the only game in town you can get away with stuff like that. I'm just curious if we will have to live with this setup bug for the rest of the CMx2 titles. It's incredibly annoying and should have been fixed years ago.
Take care Rambler, there are some of our brethren who are apologists for BF. When last I pointed out BF's arrogance, their untempered response made me feel quite unwelcome here at FGM.
They have great product.
