Hello Everyone!
My name is Andrew, I am a Junior in College from Connecticut and I've finally made my way over here to see what the buzz is about. I've posted here or there as General Specific (+100 to anyone else young enough to get the TV reference) on the Battlefront forums so I figured the continuity (and the irony) fit nicely. I've been playing WWII games in some form or another since I could use a computer, and while I no longer play CMAK or CMBB (maybe if I found the CD) I play all the CMx2 titles and I'd love to start playing PBEM's with anyone who would be interested. I'm excited to be a part of this group, cheers!

My good advice to all noobs (and new recruits) for playing H2H matches in a community:

1. Don't think about your opponent - play your game as if it was against the AI.
2. Win with equanimity, lose with a smile.
3. It's a long way to the top and you will be defeated many times - accept it and learn from your mistakes.
-> as J.W. von Goethe said: "No man wants to become something, everybody already wants to be something."
4. Only the one is really struck who does not get up again. ;)

P.S.: Question to my original English speaking mates regarding no. 3: Is it better to say "something" or "soemone"...?

just wanted to point this out, but the last to link seem to be broken. As enticing as the URL looks there doesn't seem to be anything useful to offer :/
