Saudi soldiers wait to greet Saudi Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, Assistant Minister for Defence and Aviation, during his visit to the Khoba frontline border with Yemen, January 27, 2010. Saudi Arabia declared victory over Yemeni Shi'ite rebels on Wednesday following a truce offer from the insurgents, who said they had withdrawn from all Saudi territory.

Saudi soldiers flash the victory sign as they ride at the back of an army truck in the southern province of Jizan, near the border with Yemen, on November 7, 2009. Saudi forces pounded Yemeni rebels for a fifth straight day as Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh ruled out a truce in his war on the Shiite insurgents.

Are these Saudi nationals or nationals from other countries like Pakistan fighting under the Saudi flag?

Once in the shady backroom of a Syrian bazaar in the old town of Damascus, I was presented with a Saudi executioner's scimitar. Will never forget that.

You're thinking of the smaller gulf states like Bahrain or Qatar. Saudi Arabia has enough manpower to fill its ranks (not to mention that those are Saudi Arabian National Guard troops not regular army, ie recruited from Tribes loyal to the Royal Family). Pakistani drill instructors and advisors aren't an uncommon sight in Saudi Military Bases though.
