Mark sent me a few of his personal photos over and I touched them up a bit to try and improve on the originals quality.

Thanks Bootie! I able to attend the 96th Infantry Division Reunion in Branson, Missouri this past spring. I was able to meet Karel Knutson and several others that served with my grandpa. It was a great honor to meet these old men who now see their time coming and wish to share the stories.

My grandfather is in the first picture on the left. He was 37 years old and left his wife and three boys to become an artilleryman in the 361st Artillery/96th Infantry Division. You can see the wear and tear that the South Pacific wore on a body...
