since CM market installed my sound has gone funny

there is a constant rushing noise as if you were in the middle of a washing machine!
 
Have you tried starting a new game? Sound problems with saved games when upgrading CMx2. Sometimes, they resolve on the next turn. Sometimes, they don't.
 
In earlier patch versions this could be solved by saving during the replay phase in the old version. Than applying the patch, load the saved file and make your turn after that. Maybe this is still true for updating to 2.10 and continuing ongoing battles. At least I hope.
 
my sound has buggered up :-( I have removed sound mods but no good
 
Did you load up the file in CM 2.01, saved after the replay in the command phase, loaded the file in the new version and processed your turn? This should do the trick.
BTW is your latest file you send me 2.01 or 2.10? If the newer version is it done the way I described? Otherwise there will be problems. If it is in the old version should I "update" it to 2.10? I got both versions installed and can do it...
 
I never realised that CM market garden was an upgrade as well as the game :-( so I just installed it
 
It's always a bit of a hassle. Yes MG is also a included patch for the whole game to a new version. I propose it drop your last file and convert the last incoming file from you to new version as I have both versions installed. This should work just fine. We just have to redo the last turn. What do you think?
 
ok thats fine thank you , I will have to play with no sound as the noise is unbearable
 
@Bidermann : I reuploaded my last file (number 70) again with the update to 2.10. This should work fine. At least I hope.

No, no special reason - but there is the sound problem now and it is an unrealistic scenario - tanks and halftracks en mas
but nearly no infantry for a town fight/street fight ...

Hey, but if you like to continue, we can go on - no problem. I can play without sound then.
 
Lets play another battle , this was a poor battle. As for the sound bug it only happens on old pbem files so new battles should be fine
