I don't smoke, never have. Monty never smoked either, somebody once made the mistake of lighting up in a car, so Monty said "You may smoke if you wish, but if you do I shall get out of the car", so the chap sheepishly put it out.
And according to a Hitler TV biography, when somebody lit up a cigar in a car with Hitler, Adolf snatched it from the man's mouth and slung it out the window..

Smoked for 12 years, quit 10 years ago. Couldn't afford to go back to it if I wanted to.

Did not answer one way or the other...I have the odd cigar and in the spring when the bugs are bad, more often.

Way back in my life when I left school I bought my self
a cigarete case and a lighter doing all the right things in those
days, and I smoked for about 6 months well I say smoked i ended
up giving more away and I wasn't getting any feeling for the
habit so i gave it up ....Best thing I ever did, how people afford
them these days is a mystery to me

Took up the habit not more than a few months ago, think maybe I've smoke -/+ 100 Cigs, couple of packs...

Love the tobacco leaf, pure relaxation, BUTT don't wanna poison my lungs, SO....

Picked up an E-Cigarette last month... Nifty little thing imported from China.
Here's the model I bought from absolutelyecigs.com:

And a technical breakdown of an E-Cig:

Basically, instead of BURNING the tobacco, Liquid Nicotine is Atomized into Vapor, then inhaled...

Since your not BURNING anything, your lungs aren't polluted with all those carcinogens. You get the Hit, without the Shit.

Plus, since it's not SMOKE that your exhaling, just WATER VAPOR, you can smoke it indoors, or in bars legally, etc.

I'm super happy with it, because
1) It's Super cheap... the nicotine E-Liquid lasts a LONG time... You can refill your own cartridges easily...
2) It's not poisonous, your not ingesting tar and formaldehyde and all the rest of that crap... Doesn't stain your teeth either...
3) You can smoke indoors since all your exhaling is water vapor, which is a plus when it's -20C outside...
4) There's a galaxy of flavors too. I'm currently smoking mint (High strength), Coconut (Super High Strength), and tobacco flavor (High Strength).

A Healthy alternative to Cigarettes has been a long time coming, but I think this is it... Check it out if your interested guys!

Interesting, i want to try it :)
WHere do you find cartridges? Are they available only on that site?
How "big" one cartridge is?

Hey zaraza,

I bought my E-Cig+Atomizer+Cartriges from www.absolutelyecigs.com because I heard that other people had good success with them. I bought the M401 starter kit, used Paypal. Shipping wasn't cheap, it came from direct from China via Chongqing to Shanghai, then through Vancouver to Ottawa... But everything arriving intact and in good order...

The E-liquid, the liquid that you use to refill the cartridges, I bought at http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/, again for no other reason that I heard some other people have had good success with them. Again used Paypal.

But there are tons of places out there to buy both the cigarette+accessories and the E Liquid, just do a Google search for E Cigarette, E Liquid, etc...

As I understand it, there not in American and Canadian RETAIL stores yet, because they are so new that the government Health agencies haven't yet had time to grapple with and classify them.

Here's my kit:
DSCN2290.jpg

White batteries with Orange LED that lights up when smoked... The black battery has a blue LED when smoked.
30ml bottle Super High strength Coconut flavor E liquid with dropper.
The battery charger has a USB plug so you can plug it into your computer.
Couple of cartriges... They have sort of a soft fabric mesh inside that absorbs and holds the liquid.
and an Atomizer, that thing at the bottom that looks like a 22 shell with a bit of steel wool... That's what heats up and turns the liquid into vapor.

Cartridges are very similar in size to a normal cigarette filter... In fact, when assembled, the E Cig looks remarkably similar, just a lot heavier then a normal Cig... I haven't quite figured out yet how long a fully filled cartridge lasts... It really depends. I've noticed they do less well in the cold, the liquid doesn't seem to flow... So you can end up with a half full cartridge that doesn't smoke because half of the liquid is "Stuck"... I solve the problem by taking with me a couple of topped-off cartridges to swap out at the first one goes weaker...
Once back inside at room temperature, I'm amazed at how long they last... Maybe 1 cartridge last as long as 5-10 normal cigarettes...

But ya, I've your interested, check out Youtube, you'll find tons of people explaining their own kit, where they got it, how to clean it, how long they last, etc...

Good Luck!

I smoked for 21 years. I quit almost three years ago and it was tough. Now it is hard for me to believe that I ever used to smoke. My wife still smokes, hope she quits soon.
