Sniper Teams

How does CM treat sniper teams? Are they more accurate or does the engine treat them as just another rifleman?

If they are treated as snipers by the game engine does anyone have any advice on making their use effective?

They are basically not snipers. More like trained sharpshooters. I use them best as scouts or better in OPs/LPs with a short covered arc. I just want them to fire on important targets of opportunity like tank commanders and Platoon leaders.

Pity. I've been mainly utilising them as scouts also.

Veteran and above can make pretty decent long range shots, Regular and below are better of as scouts.
