Something new from Slitherine... Starship troopers

I got kinda excited when I heard about it. Then? Meh.
For a moment there I was hoping it would be more like the AH board game rather than just another frantic RTS shooter.
Of course, very doubtful anyone working for the dev was even born when the game was about.

I spent a lot of time in H.S. drawing arachnid underground complexes when I should have been listening to the teacher.
Particularly in physics class. :)
 
I also read the novel. And must say it's one of the few cases where I found the movie better than the book.

But I found both interesting. As a teenager, mostly for the special effects. Now, I think I see some deeper layers in there.
