Sorry -- double post!

After being out of the tourneymeister business for most of last year and seeing we have a bunch of new players on board -- I thought it's time to dust myself off, get back on the horse and kick off a tourney of down and dirty, small, short knife-fight custom-built "byte-size" scenarios. (with Generalissimo @Bootie 's go ahead of course)

Format would be the "Tag-Team" system -- where players find a partner to make up a two-man team.
One player is assigned as the AXIS player, the other the ALLIED player for the whole tournament. (keeps things simpler)
All scenarios are played as "mirror" battles where one player takes the AXIS side for his team, and the other ALLIES. the opposing team does the same.

We'll sign up 8 teams (16 players) divided into 2 groups of 4 teams, which will play a round robin within the groups (this gives each team a minimum of 3 battles)

Points are awarded for:
Total Victory: 10
Maj Victory: 8
Tact Victory: 6
Minor Victory: 5
Draw: 4
Minor Defeat: 3
Tactical Defeat: 2
Major Defeat: 1
Total Defeat: 0

Scores get added up - two highest scoring teams in each group proceed to a knock-out semi-final ... then after that the final.

Battles will be short and intense -- 15 minutes to max 25 minutes at a stretch - so turn-around is meant to be quick and sharp!

Teams may confer amongst themselves and share intel or decide to play blind -- their choice -- as long as it doesn't slow things...

If players drop out, I will slot in reserves from the bench (if we have some) ...

Out for much of today -- but will monitor responses from my phone from time to time. :D
