Spam Filter...Question

Over the 3 weeks i have been hit with a lot of spam, I never have had this before which is becoming a pain in the wat's it, I use incredimail and they have got there own filter at a cost....What i should like to know if any of you Guy's are running a FREE filter plus would it work with incredimail, If you could please let me know of any good ones.

I use gmail, and it filters the spam into a spam folder. I don't consider it problem.

I use Mailwasher which is very good it takes a little sorting out buts very good

I use one e-mail address for public consumption (any time I have to post an e-mail address on the internet) and another just for friends/family. Works for me.

How much is 'a lot'?
I'm on AOL, there's supposed to be a built-in spam filter but about 10 spam mails per day still get through, but 10 is not so bad because I just delete 'em.
But if I started getting lots more than that I'd adjust my mail settings to "only accept mail from addresses listed below", which would list people I know.

I get some times as many as 10 and on one occasion 30 in one hit, that's when I decided to check around for spam filter's, this morning I got none ....Just no pattern here

I don't know if they are trying to tell me some thing, but I get a lot of Viagra mail suggesting I buy it by the bucket loads ..........HAAAAA happy day's
