We have a small group of fairly dedicated players who meet online using Vassal and play Speed Circuit and Circus Maximus. We're about one-third of the way through a 9-race season of Speed Circuit, and so far we're just playing Circus Maximus without keeping score for the season. We usually meet Saturday mornings at 9 AM Eastern USA time, and a race takes between 2-3 hours. If anyone's interested in joining please let me know. We use Vassal and we use Discord so we can all talk while we're playing. Both Vassal and Discord are easy to use, believe me if I can figure them out anyone can figure them out.
We will likely also play on Thursdays at 7 PM Eastern USA time for Circus Maximus only, not Speed Circuit.
Both games are easy to learn and you don't have to buy a used copy of the game, you can find the rules and everything you need on Board Game Geek, and all the charts are built into the Vassal module. You could just show up and watch while we play and learn the game that way if you wanted to.
