Starting to get paranoid

Yesterday I was watching a Youtube video about the City of London, tax havens, money laundering, etc.

Damn phone all of sudden it turns on the Google Assist function. I wasn't even touching the phone it was just sitting on the desk to the side. I never use this function and never set it it up with my voice. There was certainly no one in the the video saying "Ok Google".

Yeah, that's the one. Tempted to run it through again and see if it triggers the phone.

Yep. It has a unique tradition, special exemptions, and goes by its own rules from what I was told about it.

I have seen references to the City of London but never understood exactly what it was before. Apparently dates from 1066 (probably before). Before 1066 there was a group of seaman based out of London called the lithsmen. They may have been Danish and they influenced who was king. I also think they may have been mercenaries. Surely there is a good chance it was these blokes who were the City of London.
