Thought I'd highlight this channel for those of you interested in WWII armour restoration. (which is probably most of you)

If you enjoy the Bovington tank museums workshop series you'll love this stuff because it's pretty similar.

It really gives you a good idea on how thick and heavy working with armor is.
Fixing the clutch on the T34 gave a new respect for field mechanics.

Took pictures of probably 1/3 the vehicles, but I realised that I am particularly enamoured with the Sd.Kfz's, probably because they are my favourite toy in CM:FB - a mounted company of them supported by various up-armed Sd.Kfz's (3.7 cm PaK, 2 cm KwK38, 7.5 cm PaK40 ) is a soooo much fun for assaults!

But, it was also good to get a feel for some of the modern(-ish) toys I play with it CM:BS, though their numbers are rather limited in the museum (because they are being consumed right now at a vast rate of knots in the fields and forests of Ukraine...)

The collection is actually a lot bigger than I expected. Do they keep the sheds air conditioned?

I think that would bankrupt them!!

Nah, every 3rd or so side wall is a roller door with security mesh to let in airflow, and they have gigantic fans on the roof

Ah yeah fair enough, was thinking as it's in Cairns the heat and humidity would NOT be kind to the vehicles, let alone how hot it would get inside those sheds if they were closed up!
