A lavishly illustrated book. It is organized by Panzer Division numbers and within each division it highlights various time periods. It does not go into combat details but rather presents the reader with the tank type and version present at a particular time and place. Also presents the organizational structures of the divisions. A beautiful book. While not comprehensive in terms of paint schemes it would nevertheless be an asset to modellers as well. Personally, I found this a useful book for modding tank skins in combat mission, specifically to find the correct tactical icons for specific regiments during the time frame of CMBN. For even the casual reader, it is a very enjoyable bit of eye candy.
