Easy to forget how vast even just our galaxy is and at what time scales it operates... easy to understand why no contact.
Yeah it's something I often wonder about when watching videos about the Fermi Paradox. It seems like the simple and obvious solution to why we never made contact, yet it's rarely mentioned.

I'd guess religion would keep rolling along. Those religious folk would just come up with some tenet or another in their favor, whoever they might be.
