Are you all from the States Nort ?

Yes. We are all from Claremont Country Club, in Oakland, California. Our golf course was designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie. The Club is a member of the MacKenzie Society. The Society is made up of MacKenzie-designed courses all over the world. The clubs gather each year for a competition. This year, Cork Golf Club hosted the Gathering. I was lucky enough to make the Claremont team.

The team is on a post-Gathering jaunt. Adare Manor for two days, then onto Lahinch. Then the group splits up. Mary and I come home. Some off to Northern Ireland, some off to Scotland and some off to Italy.
