Thread notification Icon

Guys Im looking for ideas on what to add to the forums for thread notification icons... it has to be something generic so no swastikas or US white stars etc.

They will be put in place across all forums replacing the large red ticks which are placeholders just now.

Suggestions please.

Now this always is a hard one... Are those supposed to have somwething to do with wargaming or do you want them to be totally 'generic'?

Generic to wargaming but not to a certain army/nation of WW2.
