To my opponents...

Heat sink problem...? Huh?
Are your tech guys ripoff artists or what?

Can recommend after a few months in my new machine. Keeps my toasty AMD 5900X cool most of the time.

Thanks. I went with this:

Man these things are big. The pictures for both of them look enormous. It is hard to see how they fit in a case.

I'll share my full specs once it's actually built - still waiting for at least one part to actually arrive in store.

I was sceptical going from a waterblock AIO 'back' to an air cooler but I'll admit they have come a long way. After months of a mate pushing my in that direction, seeing multiple test sites show some of the high end air coolers out performing AIO's in performance and noise validated the idea and I went for it. It just squeezes into my case. :D Low end on the price point was waste of time. Now we just need air coolers with RGB lighting. :p

When I build my current PC I did some research into water cooling and basically the outcome was that there's no real difference in cooling performance. Although the cooler does indeed barely fit my case (which isn't small). It fits though, which is what counts :)
