[TV] Bosch

Another one Ive started watching is Bosch. My friends are on to series 3 and are advising its great... Ive just watched the first episode... kinda slow but enough for me to be wanting more. Will see how it pans out. Has anyone watched this?

I started to watch Episode 1 with my wife. After 20 minutes, she commented, "Clearly a more male oriented drama." I'm finding it too dark at the moment; Bosch's forensically based imagined crime narrative is too tragic an entertainment for my tastes right now. As a police procedure, though, it looks rather good and has been well received.

I'm a huge fan of the book series. Hard to find better crime drama.
I'll pass on the show though. I just don't see the lead actor in the roll. Clearly a "me" problem though.

I really liked all three seasons. Agree with @Badger73 that it is testosterone heavy. I think the first season is my favourite still. It makes me want to read the books - they are on the list but the list is long so I have no idea when I'll get there...
