Been watching this documentary on You Tube, about the extraordinary life of Georg Gartner, a WW2 soldier captured who then escaped from an american POW camp, and subsequently evaded the FBI for 40 years.

That's a very interesting story......Remarkable.....Once i started it i couldn't give it up

The FBI kept after him for 40 years???.... why?

It's hard to imagine the conflict in his heart, and the turmoil that ensued, especially after he had been back to Germany.
A truly remarkable story, and an amazingly resourceful man.
