[TV SERIES] The American Civil War - Ken Burns

I've seen this several times.I 've taken a great interest in the ACW in the recent years, I was very impressed with this documentary totalling about 12 hours long! As a trainee historian (doing a degree!) I always had to wonder what peoples opinions were on the series, primarily because I like it, and I dont like to like things as i feel i'm missing some bad aspect to it. Does anyone have any negative comments on it? I'd assume due to the maker it's biased towards the south, but it seems to do a good job of portraying both sides regardless.

A Fantastic Series. I own it on DVD and recommend it to anyone.

I saw it once on the BBC. Lot of information about a war I didn't know to much about. And the main commentary voice ! Wow, what a voice ! There was respect (don'tknow quite how to put t) in the voice for everybody who was part of he war. and the subjects weren't all about the fighting but also about the people who stayed at home etc.
