It's been so long I've completely forgotten everything.

Just finished season 4. Excellent as always, but man, the hero just can’t catch a break!
What is this about?
It is based on a long series of books .... “The Saxon Chronicles” by Bernard Cromwell. Basically about a fictional character who is critical in all the Alfred the Great period events, but who‘s name is lost to history. Think of him as a super competent bad ass warrior Forest Gump. That’s how I see it anyway.
Does he get shot in the ass by an arrow or something? Does he like seafood? Does he run across King Alfred's kingdom? Does he have an unobtainable unrequited love that he marries just in time to see her die?

Been catching up on this ... still only Season 2 ... but what's funny that none of their armies ever post scouts or outriders... everybody's always surprised when they run into enemies... LOL
