Ultimate General: Gettysburg

For all of you interested in the ACW I would like to draw your attention to Ultimate General: Gettysburg

Although I am not too big a fan of real-time games I picked this up at Steam. It is an early access game, so not finished yet. I payed less than 10 EUR and all buyers will get access to the finished game once released. Only one game speed possible at the moment but the game can be paused and orders issued. Great fun so far.

Oh, and why Gettysburg AGAIN??? ... lol ... like there was no other ACW battle.

I just love the way this looks, but I quit playing Total War for a reason and, unfortunately, the RT just kills this one for me.
Can you imagine trying to handle all the units on the 2nd day!?

There should be an option for turn based mode resp. a choice between real time and turn based - like Battlefront did it already in Combat Mission x2.
I think modern pc games need to offer more options/play modes for to reach a wider gamer community.

becomes an insane clickfest dashing all over the map. :-(

You can pause the game and give commands, so no clickfest.
